My clients have typically worked with coaches before. They found it useful and they are here because they are ready to go deeper.

The work examines the beliefs and patterns running underneath decisions, not just the decisions themselves. It is grounded in neuroscience and behavioural science, but it is not academic. It is practical, pragmatic direct, and it asks something of you.

You are the driver.

I sharpen the thinking.

You are the driver. I sharpen the thinking. My job is to strengthen your capacity to think clearly and act deliberately.

You are accountable for the change. I am accountable for the quality of the space in which it happens. Every session leaves you sharper, and more capable of finding your own answers.

The work is not about blowing it up. Instead, we will examin what is running underneath it, keeping what is genuinely yours, and redesigning what isn't.

Neuroplasticity (ie. the brain's capacity to reorganise and adapt throughout life) is not just a concept I reference. It is the foundation of how the work is designed. Including well into your fifties and beyond.

Insight without movement is just interesting. Movement without insight is just busy. The work holds both: you will think more clearly and act more deliberately, at the same time.

This is for you if…

  • You have spent decades delivering at a high level and sense that the operating system that got you here is showing its limits

  • You want rigour, not motivation. Depth, not techniques. A thinking partner, not a cheerleader

  • You are genuinely ready to examine the patterns running underneath your decisions, not just the decisions themselves

  • You have tried coaching before, found it useful up to a point, and are looking for something that goes further

  • You want to design the rest of your life deliberately & you are prepared to do the work that requires

  • You value confidentiality, intellectual honesty, and a space where you can think without performing

This is not for you if...

  • You are looking for someone to hand you the answers, validate your existing plan, or tell you what you want to hear

  • You want a quick fix. This work takes time, and it asks something of you between sessions

  • You are not open to being genuinely challenged - by me, by the material, or by the peers in the room

  • You are in acute crisis, in which case a therapist or counsellor is a better starting point, and I will say so

  • You are happy exactly where you are. This work is for people who sense there is more, and are ready to find out what

GICA - the four dimensions of deliberate living

Every programme and every 1:1 engagement is built on the GICA framework, four dimensions that together form the foundation for a deliberately designed life.

Most people, under the pressure of high-performance environments, have unconsciously neglected at least one. The work begins by finding out which.

GROUNDING

Identity, values, self-awareness, and self-regulation, including the boundaries that protect them. And the unconscious beliefs that have been running decisions without full awareness. Who you are when the external structures shift.

I

INTENTION

Designing the next phase from the inside out, based on what you actually want, not what you have been conditioned to pursue.

C

CLARITY

The ability to see what matters, cut through the noise, and make decisions without being at the mercy of every passing mood or pressure.

A

ACTION

Small, deliberate experiments that build new patterns without requiring you to blow up the life you have worked hard to create.

Q: How is this different from therapy?

Therapy asks ‘Why do you feel this?’ Coaching asks ‘What will you do about it?’ We focus on actionable change for your present/future.

Q: Can we address work and personal issues?

Yes. Your ‘professional’ and ‘personal’ selves share the same brain. We’ll edit patterns that show up everywhere.
